How to scan QR codes with your Android.

Steps

Open the Play Store on your Android Mobile.

Type QR code reader into the search box and tap the search button.This displays a list of QR code reading apps. Just make sure to read its reviews before you download.The steps should be similar for all QR code reading apps.

Tap QR Code Reader developed by Scan. The developer name is listed below each app. You may have to scroll down to find the app made by Scan.

Tap Install. A pop-up will appear, asking you to give permission for the app to access information on your Android.

Tap Accept. QR Code Reader will now install on your Android.When the app is finished installing, the “Install” button will say “Open,” and you’ll have a new icon in the app drawer.

Open QR Code Reader app. This opens the app, which looks like a standard camera screen.

Line up the QR code in the camera frame. It's like you’re taking a photo, except you don't have to press any buttons. When the scanner reads the code, a pop-up containing the URL in the code will appear.

Tap OK to open the website. This launches your default web browser and navigates to the URL in the QR code.
